This is another new apron with a southwestern applique and unique pockets. The apron is made from the side of a pair of denim jeans. The applique and pockets are from other pairs of jeans.

DIY Recycled Denim Children's Apron in time for summer
This Children's Apron is made from the side leg of a pair of jeans. The ties are made from the remaining leg of the jean. I used the embellishment from a denim jumper and attached it to the front of the apron. I sewed around 3/8 inch from the edges and cut in 1/4 inch depth and 1/4 inch apart to made the raggedy appearance.
