I make and sell handbags and purses made from recycled denim blue jeans. I give all the money to charity. I am presently supporting the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and organizations that are focused on stopping human trafficking. You can check out my website at www.bluejanes.org
I love this tote bag made with roses trailing down either side. It is approximately 14 by 16 inches and the straps were made from the legs of the jeans. Great bag for toting books, craft supplies, etc.
I took an unusual pair of jeans and made then into a tote bag. White crowns, hearts and stars appear stamped on the denim. Approximately 14 by 16 inches and the straps are approximately 28 inches in length.
These are some before and after pictures of a wicker rocker I recovered with denim from jeans and a jacket. The applique came from a jacket and the rest of the denim is from jeans. It was not hard to do using the old fabric as a pattern for the new covering. The only expense I had was the spray paint for doing the wicker part of the chair and the tacks to secure the covering.
I love books and am an avid reader. I also work as a church office manager and am the church librarian. As a Christ follower, I am always looking to grow spiritually in my reading and in my community. .
